A Day of Thanksgiving in East St. Louis
Article by Dan Stuckey, May 19, 2008

The East St. Louis, IL, ministry was rededicated with its own chapel on August 25, 2007. After five years of preparation and on-site ministry at the Pilot Travel Center, the Upper Room finally has a Mobile Chapel placed into service!

During the dedication ceremony, many thanks were given: first and foremost to the Lord for His many blessings both before and during the arrival of the chapel; also to Pilot's District manager, Keith Hostettler and the Manager of the East St. Louis Pilot truck stop, Dave Stewart, for allowing Transport For Christ to be there for drivers; and to Ron and Brenda Hershberger for their many years of loving service, laying the foundation of the ministry in East St. Louis. Thanks were also extended to all volunteers, prayer and financial partners.

We look forward to watching God meet all the drivers that come into the Upper Room Chapel. For more information, please contact Chaplain Dan at chapdan@msn.com or 402-201-3131.
